This Cookie Policy explains how this Website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage). It should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy. It is provided in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as transposed in Greece (Law 3471/2006), and the GDPR.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to remember information across pages or visits. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which also store small pieces of information on your browser.

The law treats them the same way: some are strictly necessary or functional and can be used without consent, while others (e.g. analytics or advertising) require your prior consent.

2. The key point: we keep it minimal

This Website does not set its own cookies. With your consent, it uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — we do not build advertising profiles and we do not share your data with advertisers.

The only items stored on your device by our own website are certain functional local storage items that remember your preferences and improve your experience. The only technologies that may involve a third party are Google Analytics and the optional Google map on our Contact page — both load only with your consent.

3. Why we use these technologies

To remember your language choice (Greek or English).

To remember that you dismissed a one-time interface hint.

To temporarily cache public review content so the Contact page loads faster.

To display an interactive map of our clinics, if you choose to load it.

To measure how the Website is used and improve it, with your consent (Google Analytics).

Note: you can always find our clinics on the map via the plain text link "Open in Google Maps" on the Contact page. This is a regular link and does not load anything or share data until you click it and go to Google.

6. Legal basis and consent

The functional local storage (the first-party items above) is used under the ePrivacy exemption for storage strictly necessary for providing a feature you use (e.g. remembering your language). It stores no identifying information and does not require consent — we simply disclose it here.

The Google map involves a third party and the transmission of your IP address, so it is only loaded with your prior consent. The map does not load until you choose to.

7. How to manage or delete this storage

Load the map only when you want

The map does not load until you choose to.

Block storage

Most browsers allow you to block or restrict cookies and site data.

Blocking functional local storage may reset your language preference on each visit but will not otherwise affect the website's functionality.

8. Third-party cookies

The only third-party technologies used are Google Analytics and Google Maps, both only with your consent. We do not use social media pixels, advertising networks, or any other third-party trackers.

9. Retention periods

Retention for each item is shown in the tables in §5. Functional items persist until you delete them (except the review cache, which expires after 24 hours). Any cookies set by Google are governed by Google's own retention.

10. Your rights

Where storage involves personal data, you have the rights described in the Privacy Policy, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority .

11. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We will update this policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes — for example, if analytics are ever added, we will update the policy and obtain your consent via the banner before using any such technology.
